Congratulations to Mitzy González Moyeno, EdD, Puerto Rico Consortium for Clinical Investigation Training and HIPAA Privacy Officer on earning her Doctor of Education EdD degree from Nova Southeastern University. She completed a concentration on organizational leadership while focusing her thesis around  organizational factors influencing satisfaction and commitment among PR not-for profit organizations’ talent.

During her over 12 years’ experience as health professional she has collaborated with non-profit entities as well as for the private industry specializing in addictive disorders and mental health. González Moyeno has a passion for the well-being of patients, their privacy, healthy lifestyles and development of health prevention skills. She has collaborated with support groups on seminars addressing topics such as empowerment, leadership and prevention for the following organizations: Iniciativa Comunitaria, Universidad Sagrado Corazón, Ricky Martin Foundation, Lazos de Esperanza. Since 2018 she joined WIPR as radio host.

González Moyeno has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Phoenix, a doctorate in Education with a specialty in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and a Neuroscience and Mindfulness certificate from The Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience. On August 2021 she obtained her Doctor of Education, EdD degree from NSU.
