About PRCCI

PRCCI was established in April 2016 as a non-profit consortium bringing together Puerto Rico’s leading clinical research centers, both academic and private. In August 2023, PRCCI added its own Clinical Research Center and expanded its offerings with new solutions, including training for physicians entering clinical research, and the expansion of its community outreach division and patient engagement.

The new PRCCI Clinical Research Center provides space and resources for the organization’s center, as well as other centers and researchers in Puerto Rico’s clinical ecosystem, to conduct studies in a state-of-the-art facility. PRCCI has enhanced the speed and quality of clinical research in Puerto Rico, driving performance, efficiency, and leveraging strategic partnerships.

The strength lies in the many years of accumulated experience in the field of clinical research. PRCCI is committed to advancing clinical research with exceptional standards, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and advancement in the field of medicine. It boasts a team of highly trained and dedicated professionals who significantly contribute to the progress of research. PRCCI is concerned about the well-being of the Puerto Rican population in general, and in collaboration with its partners and sponsors, they work tirelessly to improve the quality of life through cutting-edge clinical research.

PRCCI was developed by the Puerto Rico Science, Technology, and Research Trust (PRSTRT), whose overall strategy is to transform Puerto Rico into a knowledge-driven economy.
